Very nice blend. Very aromatic and complex.

• Nose:
  Campfire smoke, vanilla, caramel, citrus fruits, a little smoked ham. In the background there are cherries covered in ash. Very aromatic

  sweet with slightly smoky citrus fruits, vanilla, caramel, some cherry, spicy oak notes, light smoked ham notes
  
  
• Finish:
  Sweet smoky caramel and vanilla, spicy oak. Light citrus fruit. Slightly bitter towards the end.

Remarks:
nice fruity bourbon. The cognac cask gives this bourbon a pleasant fruitiness.

Overall I rate this Whisky:

• Nose:
  red fruits, slightly sweet, oak, vanilla, caramel, herbs, a few berries. Light cherries. Cognac notes come through.
  
  
• Taste:
  fruity sweet, some cherries, vanilla, caramel, oak, citrus fruits and a few berries.
  
  
• Finish:
  Bourbon typical finish but more on the fruity side. Sweet, oak, vanilla, citrus and red fruits.

Remarks:
Not very complex in my opinion.
The rum barrel makes it less complex and, in my opinion, takes away a lot of the flavors on the palate.

• Nose:
  sweet, vanilla, lots of oak, the alcohol stings a bit in the nose, some citrus fruits, some cherries in the background. A bit bitter later
  
  
• Taste:
  Sweet, vanilla, caramel, a little spiciness and later becoming a little tart
  
  
• Finish:
  Bourbon typical finish. Sweet, oak, vanilla and some citrus
