Remarks:
Based on the profile, I would guess a it is a Lagavulin.
Very nice whisky. But needs some time to breathe and open up
Overall I rate this Whisky:
- Nose:
light maritime smoke, citrus fruits, some caramel, green apple, some salty sea breeze, a few herbs, malt. later the smoke appears more ashy - Taste:
sweet and slightly smoky maritime. Apple, vanilla, caramel. Lots of herbs, a bit salty and a ginger spiciness comes through. Lots of bright fruits. Later becoming oily - Finish:
Sweet fruity finish with light maritime smoke. Crunchy and warming
