Remarks:
Solid Talisker.
Nice flavors but personally I find the 10 year old standard better than this one

Overall I rate this Whisky:

  • Nose:
maritime, salty, citrus fruits, lime, later comes some maritime smoke. Slightly alcoholic sting, a few berries come through

  • Taste:
Here you immediately sense the Talisker DNA, maritime, light smoke, citrus fruits, a slight sweet salty note. Fruits appear and later also some fruit acid.

  • Finish:
Maritime salty with a few fruits. Later then fruit acid that lasts longer.

very nice PX matured whisky. Speculation are that this is a Macallan. Many people agree on this.
Very intense sherry notes which harmonize perfectly with the somewhat leathery oak notes. Very complex and voluminous on the nose and palate. I like this one very much.

I really like this Bunna on the palate and in the finish.
I find it very reserved on the nose.

Overall I rate this Whisky:

  • Nose:
Oak, green apple, some malt, slightly salty, a bit maritime, a few herbs. In the background there are a few nuts, vanilla and caramel

  • Taste:
spicy oak notes, herbs, green apple, light fruits, light maritime notes, some malt, some leather. Very salivating.

  • Finish:
Herbs, spicy oak, bright fruits. Slightly malty with maritime notes. Later leather and a bit bitterly dry.
    Long lasting.

CasksBourbonAge22yo
ABV44.3%Non-Cillfilteredyes
Whiskybase ID109973Natural coloryes

Remarks:
Very nice Tobermory with a very interesting fruity profile.
Really great bourbon barrel aging

Overall I rate this Whisky:

  • Nose:
Lots of light fruits, apricot, grapefruit, dragon fruit, some malt, vanilla and caramel, herbs, fresh oak, some light honey and white chocolate

  • Taste:
Here too there is a lot of fruit at the start, grapefruit, some apricot, herbs, malt, spicy oak, some leather, slightly oily creamy, light honey, dragon fruit

  • Finish:
Soft and oily but the aromas are a bit thin at the beginning, later the fruit, the leather and the oak come through.
These aromas last quite a long time on the palate.
