Here are some information’s about me.

My name is Christian.

I am German but I live and work since 2014 in the Peoples Republic of China.

In the German Whisky community I am known under the user name Tangtang.
On Whiskybase you can find me under the user name Tangtang_WhiskyYoda.

Here in China however I earned one day the user name WhiskyYoda.

So why is that? The answer is actually simple:

since my English is not that amazing when it comes to grammar (Yoda), but my experience with tasting and describing Whisky that everyone can understand it and can refer to it (like a Jedi Master) let someone shouted out in a group here online with about 490 people that henceforth I should be known under the name Whisky Yoda.

I went with it and created the logo above which is since that day my standard avatar I use here in China.

Why did I create this homepage? Here the answer is that many of the people who know me in China under Whisky Yoda like to read my reviews but are not registered at Whiskybase.com where I also write them in first place. So, it is difficult to find my review if many other users also wrote one for a specific bottle. With creating this homepage, I can give them a way to find the reviews easier without the need for them to search on Whsikybase. In the same time they will get the direct links to Whiskybase if they want to have a look there as well what other users think.
