Remarks:
In a blind tasting I would have guessed it is an Irish whisky.
The alcohol is a bit too strong on the nose and the finish is quite bitter.
Overall I rate this Whisky:
- Nose:
lots of bright fruits, malt, alcoholic, yellow apple, berries, some orange peel, mango, Mirabelle plum, a few nuts, some vanilla, pepper and ginger spiciness
- Taste:
lots of bright fruits, Mirabelle plum, yellow apple, berries, orange peel, mango, malt, pepper and ginger. Slightly oily
- Finish:
very fruity on the finish. Unfortunately, the fruit decays quickly and more fruit acid and bitterness remains.
