Remarks:
Very nice and complex Whisky. The Sherry influence is very strong but it doesn’t seem overloaded.
Overall I rate this Whisky:
- Nose:
Strong Sherry flavors, dried and dark fruits, orange peels, raisins, plums, chocolate, oak spices, very voluminous - Taste:
Also here the Sherry flavors dominate the profile. dark and dry fruits, vanilla, raisins, plums, slightly sweet, honey, creamy, oak spices, orange peels. What comes in addition are some fruit sourness and some leather - Finish:
In the finish I get in general the same flavors like on the palate but now a bit softer. For that the leather and the fruit sourness is more strong and it becomes a bit tart at the end.
