In a nutshell: the weakest Octomore I’ve tasted so far. Disappointed me.
Overall I rate this Whisky 82/100 points
- Nose: 82/100 points
smoky sweetish, but the smoke is quite weak, barley. Far in the background a bit fruity
- Taste: 82/100 points
strong onset, sweet with malt and barley. Absolutely need water
- Finish: 82/100 points
short, sweet with some malt, barley and slightly nutty. Smoke is a bit penetrative
