Remarks:
very tasty PC. Wonderful combination of flavors. In the nose it weakens a bit, but on the palate and in the finish it shows a wonderful profile. I like it very much.
Overall I rate this Whisky 90/100 points
- Nose: 90/100 points
typical but rather restrained PC smoke combined with a soft sherry profile. Some dried fruit, slightly sweet, every now and then the peat shows up, all in all rather restrained, some herbs and some barley. Very light maritime notes - Taste: 90/100 points
Smoky start, spicy, dried fruits, pepper, a lot of peat, slightly sweet, very strong, many changing aromas, here the sherry aromas show themselves more but without being overwhelming. Later comes a little vanilla and light maritime notes - Finish: 90/100 points
Spicy finish with a nice smoky note, lots of dried fruits, sweet, very long and very salivary and intense
