Remarks:
An excellent malt with a somewhat reserved nose. It wants to be enjoyed with time and needs it too. If you give it to him, you won’t be disappointed. Very complex and the alcohol is wonderfully integrated. I like it very much.
Overall I rate this Whisky 95/100 points
- Nose: 95/100 points
beautiful delicate sherry wood note, it is very soft. At first there is no sign of the high alcohol content. Only when the glass wall is damp and the nose deep in the glass comes a little alcoholic sharpness, which quickly disappears and gives way to spicy wood notes. Dried fruits with plums and raisins appear, later becoming a bit nutty and slightly sweet. Even later I discover some citrus fruits, mostly orange. All in all, the flavors are very soft and mild. You have to and want to smell it for a long time. With a little warmth, the aroma impression becomes a little sweeter. Very complex - Taste: 95/100 points
Very nice sherry spicy start. The alcohol is well integrated and ensures this great start. Lots of dried fruits and spicy oak, again the raisins and plums, light chocolate notes, later the citrus fruitiness, longer in the mouth becoming slightly bitter, oily, some herbs appear, stimulating saliva - Finish: 95/100 points
soft with sherry and oak, slightly nutty and fruity, but also pleasantly spicy, long-lasting. Chocolate with coffee, at the very end a bit minty or citrus-fruity notes, very pleasant.
