Remarks:
On the nose it is rather restrained compared to the palate and the finish.
There it appears fuller and stronger.
A really nice malt. I like it.
Overall I rate this Whisky 90/100 points
- Nose: 89/100 points
Fruity with apple and peach, raisins, caramel, oak notes, a little bit of pepper, vanilla. Subtly sweet and slightly nutty. Very light floral notes - Taste: 90/100 points
Slightly sweet, very fruity with again the apple and peach, honey, vanilla and caramel, chocolate, some leather, nice oak notes, raisins coming. Now the saliva starts to flow more quickly, so swallow it quickly before the malt gets watered down. Because it has a very round and pleasant aroma. - Finish: 90/100 points
Yes, that’s what I call a nice intense dark fruity finish. Nice aromas of raisins, dried fruits, leather, chocolate and spicy oak.
