Remarks:
nice Ex-Bourbon cask Whisky.
But it needs plenty of time to open up.
At the beginning the alcohol and oak flavors are too strong imho.
Overall I rate this Whisky:
- Nose:
Sweet, yellow fruits with apple, lots of Vanilla, young oak, some cereals and a bit alcoholic which gets better after letting it breath for a longer period. - Taste:
many vanilla combined with the sweetness of honey, yellow fruits, young spicy oak, some lime shows up. Also a bit of milk chocolate shows up in the background. - Finish:
quite many young oak at the beginning with a bit honey sweetness and some yellow fruits which I would say are more the tropical kind like mango and a sweeter pineapple. the length is more of short length.
