Remarks:
quite tasty 12 year old malt that can definitely handle some water. The alcohol isn’t integrated quite well. However, it is quite tasty
Overall I rate this Whisky 87/100 points
- Nose: 87/100 points
Smoke, smoked ham, fruity, spicy, alcohol stings a bit in the nose, very spicy, slightly ashy
- Taste: 87/100 points
Pepper, dried fruits with something like smoke and smoked ham, hot, a little oily, dark fruits, with water slightly lighter fruits appear. With water it becomes a little fruity and the smoke fades into the background. Getting a little creamier.
- Finish: 87/100 points
smoky with sherry flavors, spicy and slightly sweet. Quite long, later becoming bitter. With water it becomes a little fruity and slightly nutty
