Remarks:
Had a 3cl sample of this blend to taste.
Nose is very promising, very soft and round, really pleasing,
However, the taste totally disappointed me. If you leave it in your mouth for a long time it becomes very uncomfortable, I would almost say disgusting.
The finish is ok.
If I were offered it again, I would smell it for a long time, but swallow it quickly. then it is to be enjoyed.
The bad taste if longer in the mouth spoils it a higher score.
Overall I rate this Whisky 77/100 points
- Nose: 88/100 points
slightly alcoholic, but this disappears after a very short time and changes into spicy oak and sherry. Slight sweetness appears, as do spices. Later there will be some caramel, chocolate and nuts. Very soft and round. - Taste: 64/100 points
At first, there is sherry, some sharpness and spicy oak.
But if you leave it in your mouth longer, a very unpleasant and indefinable taste appears. Very difficult to describe but really not enjoyable. You should always swallow it quickly. - Finish: 80/100 points
sweet, somewhat nutty with caramel, spicy, slight hint of sherry. short to medium length. it’s perfectly alright.
