Remarks:
An absolutely great malt. Incredibly complex, the alcohol is absolutely perfectly integrated and imperceptible at all. The variety of flavors is really overwhelming.
Overall I rate this Whisky 93/100 points
- Nose: 93/100 points
beautiful, spicy wood notes, old furniture, wow what a great nose, lots of herbs, oranges, grasses, the alcohol is perfectly integrated, then vanilla and honey, apple, beeswax - Taste: 93/100 points
Furniture polish, old furniture, spicy and yet very fruity, banana, again the beeswax from the nose, creamy, nutty, some chocolate, very soft despite the rather high alcohol content, really great - Finish: 93/100 points
nice, soft and spicy finish, the furniture polish again, slightly sweet, honey, chocolate, nutty, oak. Much later, it becomes slightly bitter, which is by no means unpleasant
