Remarks:
Very balanced and tasty single grain. Very fruity and sweet. Only in the nose is he a bit reserved. The barrel influence is clearly present, but I would definitely have appreciated it more recently at a blind tasting
Overall I rate this Whisky 88/100 points
- Nose: 88/100 points
fruity and sweet with vanilla. Lots of oak, light fruits, spicy, herbs, quite soft and rather reserved. Slightly hear hay and dried grass in the background - Taste: 88/100 points
sweet with vanilla and caramel, creamy, becoming spicy, the oak is also present here. Nice bright sweet fruits, lots of herbs. Later a little bitter. - Finish: 88/100 points
spicy finish with sweet oak. Very tasty, slightly chocolatey, fruits come, very slightly bitter, long. At the end a little nutty and the hay again.
