Remarks:
All in all a very tasty paint. The combination of aromas is very interesting, especially the pineapple aromas in combination with the nuttiness that is present. I think it’s pretty good
Overall I rate this Whisky 87/100 points
- Nose: 87/100 points
Lots of bright, exotic fruits, mainly pineapple, slightly sweet, malty, some honey, apple, slightly spicy, herbs and some oak. With a little water, the fruit aromas become more intense. The pineapple is accompanied by citrus fruits, mainly lemon and also slightly sweet nuts. It becomes softer and more subtle in the nose - Taste: 87/100 points
malty, somewhat sweet, again the light fruits, a kind of pineapple aroma dominates here, a slight sharpness can be heard, becomes creamy, oily, nuts come through very easily. With water, the nut aromas turn stronger, but also the fruit aromas, especially the citrus fruits, especially lemon. - Finish: 87/100 points
Nutty, malty finish, somewhat sweet, medium length, the fruits are only subtle. Slightly bitter oak aromas, with water the fruit aromas are much more present and the oak comes out a bit more spicy. In my opinion, the finish is also longer and more intense where it was rather subtle without water.
