Remarks:
Great Campbeltown malt.
Very complex and at the same time very refreshing with a great dirty earthy note.
I like it very much.
Overall I rate this Whisky 91/100 points
- Nose: 91/100 points
Old, dusty wooden furniture with fresh limes and lemons lying around, leather, wax, maritime salty, a bit dirty, which is what I like about Campbeltown Malts. Sweet and a nice fruit acidity, caramel, vanilla. Great nose. - Taste: 91/100 points
Creamy with vanilla and caramel paired with the limes and lemons. a little more acidic than it gives off the impression on the nose. leather, dirty.
With a drop of water it becomes very smooth and creamy and a hint of peaty smoke emerges - Finish: 90/100 points
wonderful fruit acid at first. Then creamy and waxy, leathery. with a drop of water, the citrus fruits also show up here. very long.
