Remarks:
not a bad malt. However, the metallic note bothers me. If this were not available, it would be a really great malt at a young age.
Overall I rate this Whisky 85/100 points
- Nose: 85/100 points
fruity and sweet with pungent alcohol. Then later a couple of dried fruits will come. There is another note that is difficult to describe. Has something metallic about it - Taste: 85/100 points
The first thing here is the rather metallic note again briefly before the sherry notes come through. Then changes to fruity, sweet notes. Slightly malty, oily and slightly nutty - Finish: 85/100 points
Again, the metallic note at the beginning. Then changes to fruity, sweet notes. Malt comes a little, but the sweetness and light fruitiness are dominant. Somewhat spicy and slightly bitter at the end
