Remarks:
quite ok and easy drinking I would say. However, I would not have guessed a GF in a blind tasting. Doesn’t remind you of a GF.
Overall I rate this Whisky 86/100 points
- Nose: 86/100 points
First, a little alcohol rises in the nose, then there are dried fruits, vanilla, nuts, a hint of chocolate that quickly disappears. - Taste: 86/100 points
fruity, somewhat tart spicy, oak, a little vanilla, dried fruits, then becoming slightly malty before it becomes dry and slightly spicy - Finish: 86/100 points
Strong finish, very spicy and slightly fruity, sweet, tart oak notes at the end. Warming. Becomes slightly dry and bitter.
