Remarks:
very soft, round and balanced, superbly balanced flavors, very tasty. An excellent malt. Wonderfully complex. I like it very much.
Overall I rate this Whisky 95/100 points
- Nose: 96/100 points
soft sherry aromas, lots of spicy oak, lots of dried fruits, soft and round, raisins and plums, sweetness, delicate wood notes and furniture polish. When heated, very aromatic, when the glass wall is damp, a bit sharp and tart as well as slightly citrus fruits and herbs, honey comes and becomes fruity. - Taste: 95/100 points
lots of oak, sherry and sweetness, fruity with honey, herbs, a little mint on the sides of the tongue, refreshingly spicy. Later on it becomes creamy with caramel and very light chocolate. Fig notes come at the end as well as raisins. Very round and balanced. - Finish: 93/100 points
Caramel, sweet, dried fruits with plums, raisins, light sherry and light oak notes, long finish, at the end a little bit tart transitioning to light chocolate notes
