Remarks:
Great old Glenlivet.
Not woody but very fruity
Had let the sample breathe for several hours

Overall I rate this Whisky 93/100 points

• Nose: 94/100 points
  strong spicy oak, old wooden furniture, light and red fruits, apple, berries, herbs, leather. Very complex and the barrel keeps very low profile despite its age. Great nose
  
  
• Taste: 93/100 points
  Soft attack, fruity and sweet with a lot of spicy oak, leather, a slight sharpness comes through. Beautiful multi-layered mouthfeel. Not bitter at all.
  
  
• Finish: 92/100 points
  Soft, sweet, fruity finish in which oak and leather later show up. Towards the end it is a bit dry.
