Remarks:
quite ok but I find the barrel influence in the nose and mouth a bit too dominant. It suppresses the fruity aromas. Still a very good malt
Overall I rate this Whisky 89/100 points
- Nose: 89/100 points
old wood, spicy, then citrus fruits, orange, later slightly sweet and dried fruits, then a bit tart. Very complex nose. The aromas change continuously during the smelling. The spicy woody aromas have the upper hand - Taste: 89/100 points
soft to the touch, spicy with notes of old wood, citrus fruits, orange peel, becoming slightly malty, a bit oily creamy at the end and slightly bitterly sour - Finish: 89/100 points
Aromatic finish, spicy with herbs and fruits. The woody aromas are barely noticeable here. Getting a little dry later
