Glenturret 12-year-old 2020 Maiden Release

Remarks:
not a bad malt, but for 12 years I find it almost too sour and woody. However, it also convinces with an interesting character of its own

• Nose: 85/100 points
  A lot of wood rises first in the nose, accompanied by a slight acidity, then nuts and light sweetness with a little caramel, herbs, almonds, in the background there are very light berries
  
  
• Taste: 85/100 points
  spicy woody, somewhat tart, dried fruits, a little pepper, citrus fruits, a little chocolate, berries and a hint of coffee
  
  
• Finish: 85/100 points
  Nutty, spicy, sweet, notes of wood, berries and a lot of caramel, a little honey, then transitioning to sour. Quite a long finish
