Remarks:
very nice malt. It looks quite soft on the nose, then it unfolds its strength on the palate. It offers a beautiful aroma profile.
Overall I rate this Whisky 88/100 points
- Nose: 88/100 points
Hay, herbs, light fruits, apple, pear, a little vanilla, slightly sweet, vanilla, the alcohol has a slight ginger spiciness. Oak notes come later, honey and floral notes - Taste: 88/100 points
Strong in the beginning, a lot of hay and herbs paired with light, sweet fruits, vanilla, a little pepper, caramel and nuts, light ginger spiciness here too. Oak - Finish: 88/100 points
warming, slightly sweet and fruity, the hay comes back easily, now shows itself more from the dry and slightly bitter side
