Remarks:
Nose and palate are completely different. Wouldn’t have thought he was so young. Only in the finish I find it is too bitter and dry.
Overall I rate this Whisky 86/100 points
- Nose: 87/100 points
Smoky, smoked ham, dark fruits, lots of herbs, spicy, a little pepper, later becoming sweet - Taste: 87/100 points
dark fruits, plums, raisins, sweet and creamy, chocolate, later a bit spicy, herbs and smoke only very slightly in the background - Finish: 84/100 points
spicy with lots of herbs, slightly sweet and fruity. Getting dry and bitter quickly. Some smoke comes through.
