Remarks:
very tasty single grain, I like it very much. Quite complex. The alcohol is well integrated. Nice combination of flavors
Overall I rate this Whisky 88/100 points
- Nose: 88/100 points
Strongly spicy wood notes, very fruity, light and red fruits, lots of berries, alcohol is somewhat present, later some fermented fruits appear, the grain is clearly present - Taste: 88/100 points
very strong and spicy start with lots of dried fruits and grain, spicy at the beginning, then becoming soft and a little oily, increasingly bitter but the fruit basket is always present - Finish: 88/100 points
Spicy woody finish, slightly sweet with dried fruits, which quickly changes to bitter, the fruits from the nose and mouth Fruits are only present in the background, later leather which stays on the tongue for a long time.
