Remarks:
Notes of a blind tasting:
it definitely needs time and air in the glass. Otherwise it looks a bit one-dimensional with the focus on oranges. If you give him the time you won’t be disappointed, at least in the nose. The finish is the weakest
Overall I rate this Whisky 88/100 points
- Nose: 89/100 points
First of all, I mainly have orange and ….. orange. Some citrus fruits.
I’ll give him more time and air in the glass.
OK. It really needed it. Now, in addition to the orange notes, I have other fruit notes which go in the direction of kiwi and melon. It looks a bit sweet with a little caramel and vanilla. Oak. - Taste: 88/100 points
strong start, spicy and slightly hot. then the oranges, honey, a few berries come back, and the sweetness is back too. In between there are also a few other fruit notes. The oak is back too. - Finish: 87/100 points
tends to be cautious when it comes to the aromas. The fruit notes are only present for a short time and the sharp notes combined with citrus fruits predominate.
