Remarks:
a malt to drink quickly. By the way while eating. But it is nothing to enjoy and experience the malt.
Overall I rate this Whisky 80/100 points
- Nose: 80/100 points
Nose reminds me of the 40% 12 standard with the exception that the 6% more alcohol shows up a bit and it is more citrus-heavy. Here is my description of the 12 standard: light fruity, slightly sweet, honey, apple, very soft, slightly herbs, some malt, in the background some vanilla and slightly citrus fruits - Taste: 80/100 points
Here he absolutely does not remind me of the 12 standard. Find him much stronger in the start. It is also a bit sour and bitter. The malty, sweetness from the nose is also here combined with the vanilla and the nuts, albeit short. Then a sour and bitter note dominates. - Finish: 80/100 points
strong with lots of citrus fruits and a subtle sweetness. Then the bitterness and sourness come through here too.
