Stork Club Smoky Rye Whiskey Batch 1

Remarks:
don’t think this rye is bad, but I would not have blindly guessed a rye. The rye is not as present as in an American rye Whiskey.

Overall I rate this Whisky 84/100 points

• Nose: 84/100 points
  In the beginning smoky, spicy, herbs, nutmeg, a little caramel, a little honey, the smoke from the beginning is now more subtle, then there are fruits like pineapple and vanilla. You can’t smell the rye
  
  
• Taste: 84/100 points
  Smoky ashy, you notice the Laphi barrels, spicy, peppery, then honey and vanilla, some smoked ham comes through
  
  
• Finish: 84/100 points
  spicy with herbs and light smoke, warming, then becoming sweet with mainly vanilla aromas
