Remarks:
All in all, I think he’s pretty bitter in profile. Doesn’t quite meet my taste. If the fruit notes would come out better, it would be better. Think he’s been in the barrel too long.
Overall I rate this Whisky 85/100 points
- Nose: 85/100 points
slightly sweet, fruity, malty with floral notes as well as slightly herbs, oak, slightly spicy, light fruits, alcohol somewhat pungent - Taste: 85/100 points
Again, a lot of light fruits combined with the malt notes, dry oak notes, spicy, some herbs, becoming quite bitter - Finish: 85/100 points
intensely spicy briefly, then quite bitter with oak notes and a slight hint of malt. All in all, medium to long.
