Remarks:
a nice blend. The profile reminds me of a Glenrothes. I would have guessed older than 18 years.
Overall I rate this Whisky 87/100 points
- Nose: 87/100 points
soft but intense sherry aromas, dried fruits, spicy oak notes, then nice chocolate notes, some tobacco and dark berries - Taste: 87/100 points
lots of sherry aromas, spicy oak, orange peel, a bit of pepper, becoming slightly sour, which goes very well with the profile. The sherry flavors are very present all the time. - Finish: 87/100 points
nice strong intense sherry notes, subtly sweet, a pair of orange peel. Later the tobacco comes back and also some chocolate in the background, the sourish shows up again
