Remarks:
Very nice interplay of flavors. The nose is extremely pleasing. Great flavors on the palate too. In the finish, however, very cautious.
Overall I rate this Whisky 88/100 points
- Nose: 90/100 points
Maritime salty notes at the beginning with a slight hint of smoke, citrus fruits, floral notes which I would define as heather, then there is a lot of caramel and honey, very soft, some orange peel
- Taste: 88/100 points
salty, then citrus fruits, transitioning to sweetness with caramel, which changes quickly and becomes sour. The interplay is very tasty
- Finish: 86/100 points
soft finish, with citrus fruits, a bit tart and bitter, medium-long. Apples come easily later
