Remarks:
Very tasty and varied.
Beautiful bourbon barrel maturation with a lot of smoke and a lot of smoked ham.
Overall I rate this Whisky 89/100 points
- Nose: 89/100 points
lots of smoke right at the start. Ash, smoked ham, spicy but also sweet. A rather subtle fruit note is evident. Citrus fruits emerge. Lemon peel. But the smoked ham note clearly dominates here. When you stick your nose deep into the glass, the malt seems quite rough. - Taste: 89/100 points
salty smoky, sharp. Powerful start. subtly sweet fruity. Ash, smoked ham, peach. A slight hint of cinnamon. In the background devoured some vanilla. - Finish: 89/100 points
lots of ash, sweet and also a bit salty at the same time, which harmonizes well together. Sweet fruits come through at the end. The aromas linger for a long time.
