Remarks:
A very multilayered and complex malt. Nice interplay in the aromas which harmonize very nicely with each other. Very interesting and tasty
Overall I rate this Whisky 91/100 points
- Nose: 91/100 points
Slightly spicy at the beginning, nice oak notes but then quickly transitioning into a nice fruity nose, lots of oranges, apricots, raisins, mango, honey, subtly sweet, very complex. Later some earth and some leather. Very nice profile - Taste: 91/100 points
Powerful start, here it comes across as sweeter than in the nose, still very fruity, again the oranges, apricots, also the spicy oak notes show up. A little leather comes through and it gets a little bit tart later. Citrus fruits, lots of spices at the end - Finish: 91/100 points
nice intense finish, sweet, dark fruity and again the oranges and apricots. Only at the end do the bitter notes as well as the spices and oak appear again.
