Remarks:
need definitely time to open up.
Still the nose is not that nice.
I had the second half of the sample in combination with a mild cigar. This combination was quite good, and it intensified the flavors of the Whisky.
All in all, a nice easy drinking malt.
Overall I rate this Whisky 85/100 points
- Nose: 84/100 points
Nose needs definitely time to open up. At the fist moment it reminded me on a Czech Whisky I had. Like there would be a huge amount of grain inside. Later coming more yellow fruits, many malt and a bit vanilla and that grain flavor disappear. Now it’s better. - Taste: 86/100 points
the palate I think is much more pleasant than the nose. But it’s very sweet. I would this one call a vanilla bomb. In the background a few fruits again and also here many malt. creamy oily. - Finish: 85/100 points
the finish is a bit short but has nice nutty flavors and it’s here not that sweet like on the palate. But the vanilla I also have here.
