Remarks:
Extremely fruity. Very complex. Really delicious. You can’t smell it long enough. Fantastic
Overall I rate this Whisky:
- Nose:
Intense dark and slightly fermented fruit, berries, orange peel, dried fruit, raisins, light sulphur, spicy oak. A real fruit basket on the nose. Later on there is some dark honey and leather. There is also some chocolate, but it is rather restrained. The fruit clearly dominates here. - Taste:
very intense dark fruits, berries, slightly fermented fruits, raisins, some sulphur in the background, creamy and oily, some honey and chocolate in the background, spicy oak, leather, orange peel. - Finish:
dried fruits, oak, dark berries, furniture polish, vanilla and caramel, some leather.
