Remarks:
did I expect something from this one? ……….No!
Was I disappointed by my expectation? ……….Yes!
Was I surprised? ……….Yes indeed I was!
That one was better than I expected and could imagine to be honest. But that doesn’t mean that it is baller!
But still a sample of it is enough. Don’t really need to have a big bottle of it. But as a gift I would take and enjoy it.
Overall I rate this Whisky:
- Nose:
very soft and smoooooth. A hint of Sherry, some berries, malt, slightly sweet. There could be some orange peels as well with a bit of imagination. - Taste:
sweet and malty at the start with some fruits, creamy and some nuts. Also here very smoooooth and soft. But still there is some slightly alcoholic note to it. Has something from a vodka imho. Kind of fruity nutty vodka. - Finish:
Sherry flavors, sweet, malt and……………….gone. All the flavors are gone quite fast and what stays is just a bit bitterness. That finish matched somewhat my expectations. But still a little tiny bit better than expected.
