Remarks:
very interesting aroma profile.
It takes time to unfold.
You should also leave it in your mouth longer to be able to perceive all the aromas. If you swallow it too early, you’ll miss out on the sweeter and fruitier flavors.
Overall I rate this Whisky:
- Nose:
Some dirty smoke that goes away over time, sherry, sweet, chocolate, some vanilla and caramel, oak, musty wood, later a kind of lime is added. A very slight sulfur note in the background - Taste:
Hay, fruit, some musty wood, slight spiciness, some pepper, oak, some malt. Later becoming oily. Vanilla, caramel and some chocolate. Slightly sweet - Finish:
Sherry and damp wood. Vanilla and caramel. The chocolate also shows up again.
